Is my PRG protected?

Existing SE+ members will have their PRG protected until the beginning of the JNNF talks 2025 as long as you participate in the ballot and give permission to the GMB to share your membership status new lifestyle switchers to SE+ members will also have their PRG protected

What is the gratuity payment?

This will be a one-off payment to eligible GMB SE+ members this is a maximum of £950 based on 6 days service

What has happened to HSP ?

The star ratings will be removed for all GMB SE+ members and measures on 3 targets with payments increased by 25p on ETA, 25p on speed of service and collections 40p amounting to potential additional earnings of £5.40 per day.

Courier insurance top up being negotiated to increase provision for home to depot and final drop to home.

What is the VAT scheme?

This is a third party scheme being offered, Evri is offering a subsidisation for all GMB SE+ members of 24% instead of 30% the company charge if you choose to use the scheme.

Will the RTD payment GMB negotiated still be paid?

Yes. This has been agreed for the new SE+ switchers as well and at £6.00

Who is covered by the claim?

This offer is for Self Employed plus, 194’s and worker status members only. If you are not a member of the GMB then you will not be eligible for any of the benefits that have been negotiated.

If you resign from the GMB then you will no longer be entitled to these benefits.

If you are lifestyle then please see the lifestyle offer on the separate bulletin.

If you switch to SE+ during the ballot then you will receive all the benefits of the offer if accepted except the gratuity payment.

When will the gratuity payment be made and how?

This is a one-off payment to eligible GMB members only and will be paid in the December invoice if the ballot is accepted.

Sickness insurance – how much does it cost?

As a GMB member then it will be fully subsidised by Evri if you are not a member then you will have to pay for this policy if you want to be covered by the insurance

When will I get a RTD payment?

Currently this is £3.50 standard with a top up of £2.50 a month later for GMB members. RTD payments will now be paid a month in arrears and will be paid at £6.00 for all GMB members making this identifiable on the invoice.

What has happened to the collections uplift?

HSP – collections have replaced the 5% uplift, the company removed this as part of the offer, they have replaced this with a £1.90 payment

How much will I lose on collections?

Eg a parcel collection based on 60p the uplift equates to 4p per parcel – with the new rate you will get £1.90 if this is for 1 parcel, under the uplift you would have to collect 47 + parcels – please check your own collections rate for how this would affect you.

What has happened to the HSIG & POD payments?

These have gradually been removed by the company as the company have been phasing the offer to clients out, they are looking to make a new offer to clients and when they do they will discuss with ourselves and we will be negotiating a new monetary amount for couriers as a replacement. These will stop 14 days post acceptance of the deal.

What if I don’t have collections – will I still get a payment?

If you don’t have collections currently you do not get the uplift, this has not changed.

What if I don’t have a collection will I be penalised for my targets?

There should not be any penalisation for your target if you do not have any collections.
