Working people will never forgive the Government if Ministers allow the UK to crash out of the EU without a deal, GMB Union has warned.
Kathleen Walker Shaw, GMB European Officer, said:
“Working people will never forgive this Government if we crash out of the EU without a deal because Ministers want to reserve their right to attack workplace rights.
“Promises were made during the referendum, those who voted to leave didn’t vote for less security and worse pay, terms and conditions.
“The oven ready deal now feels distinctly half baked. The Prime Minister needs to deliver a deal that doesn’t result in a race to the bottom, the impact of a no deal Brexit on UK jobs and businesses is unthinkable.”
