Industrial action called off at DHL Life Sciences and Healthcare in Coventry
A strike at a healthcare logistics firm has been called off after GMB members won a big pay deal.
Workers were being balloted for industrial action at DHL Life Sciences and Healthcare in Coventry, in a dispute over pay.
Bosses have now offered workers an 8.5 per cent pay rise to £10.30 an hour, which 100 per cent of GMB members have now accepted.
Ian Edwards, GMB Organiser, said:
“This is a fantastic win for the workers. Through standing together they’ve won a big pay rise which will help them make ends meet during the cots of living crisis.
“Well done to DHL life sciences for listening to their staff, who can now get on with the job they love.”
