Members voted overwhelming to reject the company’s revised pay offer
Joint statement from GMB, BALPA and Unite on British Airways pay negotiations:
“Union members in British Airways have been balloted by Unite, BALPA and GMB on the company’s revised pay offer.
"Members in every area of our collective membership voted overwhelming to reject the company’s revised pay offer.
"Unite and BALPA members have also overwhelmingly declared that they wish to be balloted for industrial action if a satisfactory pay deal cannot be secured through negotiation. GMB representatives are also meeting to plan their next steps.
"The joint unions remain committed to resolving the current impasse through negotiation.”
