Waiting times sky rocket under Conservatives
A total of 601,511 people were waiting for more than four hours in A&E and injury units last month - up from 41,100 when this Government came to power.
As latest statistics show A&E waiting time reached new record high, GMB calls for Government to talk about pay in the health service
Rachel Harrison, GMB National Secretary, said:
“Our ambulance staff have been saying for years there is a crisis in emergency healthcare.
“This tin eared government need to talk to us about how to fix these issues.
“There are 130,000 vacancies across our NHS. Without talking about pay you cannot fix the workforce shortage.
“Steve Barclay needs to talk to us about pay now.”
