Dominic Cummings cannot remain in post if members are to have confidence in the Government.
Speaking ahead of the Governments announcement this afternoon, GMB Acting General Secretary John Phillips said:
“It can't be one rule for them, another for us.
“We’ve got members on the frontline who haven’t seen their families, people who have missed saying goodbye to ones.
“If those at the top don’t follow the rules how can they hold press conferences with a straight face telling the rest of us we have to?
“Appalling behaviour. Cummings cannot remain in post if people are to have confidence in the government's coronavirus advice."
