GMB union have today welcomed the signing of a recognition agreement with Michelmersh Blockleys in Telford.
The company is a major UK supplier of brick materials to the building trade, employing hundreds of local people.
Chris Hoofe, GMB Organsier, said:
“This is a big win, delivered by GMB members getting organised and building the union at Michelmersh Blockleys.
“With recognition, GMB can now build the collective voice of workers at the plant and ensure the pay, terms and conditions they deserve.
"Our members are building their union at blockleys, one brick at a time!"
