Strike action by contractors in the energy giant's supply chain had been causing huge delays, says GMB.
GMB Union has announced today [Wednesday] that workers at British Gas supplier TVS Supply Chain Solutions have voted to accept a pay offer.
The news comes after 150 workers took eight days of strike action at the company’s HQ in Leicester and Lutterworth.
The company provides parts and maintenance support across British Has home heating products, include boilers and metering.
Ferdousara Uddin, GMB Organiser, said:
“It’s only right that company management, after workers took to the picket line for eight days, have seen sense.
“This company is a major supplier to energy giant British Gas, and the disruption caused by this strike goes to show just how vital our gas workers are”.
