Trans & Non-Binary Equality at Work Toolkit

The campaign toolkit provides GMB members with practical resources to build towards equality for trans and non-binary people at work. It includes a model workplace policy for reps to negotiate with their employers as well as a factsheet and terminology document.

GMB member reps can use the campaign toolkit to organise LGBT+ workers, understand the concerns of trans and non-binary workers and to bargain for better workplace conditions.

In 2018, the GMB Central Executive Council statement to Congress underlined our commitment to support and campaign alongside the trans community - which numbers 262,000 people in England and Wales alone. We’re proud to follow up that statement with this practical resource for GMB activists.
