Congress Feedback Form

Thank you for joining us in Bournemouth for GMB Congress 2024.

GMB Congress 2024 showed the best of our union, with members from across the country sharing their inspirational campaigns and taking part in important debates.

Your feedback is vital to helping us to make GMB Congress better every year, so please take a few minutes to share your experience with us using the form below.

  • 1. Was this your first time attending GMB Congress? :
  • 2. Would you recommend attending GMB Congress to other GMB members? :
  • Campaign Presentations

For the past 2 years, we’ve made space in the Congress timetable for GMB members to share their stories of campaigns in their workplace. You will remember, for example, that we heard from workers at Asda, Amazon and Hinkley Point C.

  • 5. Did you speak at this year's GMB Congress?:
  • 6. Were you a first time speaker at this year's Congress?:
  • 7. If you had any accessibility requirements to support your participation in Congress, were these needs met? :
  • Campaigning Afternoon

For the first time, we set aside Wednesday afternoon of Congress for campaigning, with hundreds of delegates joining a march to demand a new deal for ASDA workers, and many others volunteering to support local Labour candidates in election campaigning.

  • 10. Did you take part in any of the campaign activity?:
  • 11. Do you think the campaign afternoon should be repeated at next year’s GMB Congress? :
  • Following a motion to last year's Congress, this year we changed the song for the traditional Banner Ceremony at the beginning of Congress to "Get Up, Stand Up" by Bob Marley and the Wailers. Do you have any suggestions for songs we could use in the Banner Ceremony at future Congresses?
